Temporary View Tube Closure - May 2012 to September 2012.
To enable final works to be completed in preparation for the Olympic Games it has long been planned to temporarily close View Tube for the summer. The closure will be from Thursday 17th May and we hope to reopen on Sunday 30th September provided successful completion of a number of works occurs.
View Tube Learn offers an exciting opportunity to discover more about the Olympic and Paralympic Park and the surrounding area. With the brand new View Tube as our base and the magnificent Olympic and Paralympic Park as our backdrop, the classroom is on the first floor with a superb view of the Stadium and the Aquatic Centre and students can see the latest developments as they happen.
Taught sessions are available for Primary and Secondary Schools. You could hire the venue for a corporate event or to teach your group independently.
The classroom has space for 30 students and accompanying staff. The View Tube is easily accessible by tube and rail, a short walking distance from Pudding Mill Lane Docklands Light Railway (DLR). There are toilet facilities available.
